East Coast Paranormal Police Investigates Redline Restoration

The East Coast Paranormal Police started off the Halloween season with an investigation of the Red Line Restoration company in Bridgeport, Connecti, on September 15th,2009. The team met after work and met with the owner's son of the business. Colton told investigators that the original business in the late 1800's was a Studebaker factory. The business then was turned into numerous types of automotive repair businesses. Colton stated that the stories that have been told about the building are as follows: when the make shift auto repair shop was operating out of the building, they would hire immigrant day labourers. Well the business men owning the shop decided numerous times not to pay these people for there work. The owner figured that there was nothing that they could do , because they were here in the United States illegally. There were numerous deaths attached to this game play with the immigrant workers. The specifics were not made known by Colton. I also checked the library to see if there was anything documented . There was not.

Colton explained to James Myers (President ECPP) that his father is a big military guy. He stated that his father is also a very skeptical person when it come to the ghosts and paranormal. Since they purchased the building in the early 2000's his father has changed his tune. Colton stated that his father would work from 6PM to 6AM at the shop. He figured that there are a lot less distractions during those hours .and could get more work done. This was all great until he had numerous experiences with the unknown. Colton stated that his dad has heard people walking around, he has seen shadow figures, and was pushed by something that was not visable.

Colton stated he used to work late hours at the shop with his father , but he then had an experience he would never forget. He states that while working in the back office area, he all of a sudden felt something hit him in the back. His back started to sting , so he asked his co-worker Fernando to look at his back. Fernando told him that he had four to five distinct scratch marks across his back. Colton had Fernando take a photo of his back. The team members looked at the photos and did see what appeared to be claw marks on his back.

The investigation went from room to room, attempting to get EVPs and checking for unusually high EMF readings. While we sat in the hot areas we attempted to provoke what was supposed to be there. We had a couple slight soft sounds, but we were not sure if it was anything paranormal. The team members took video and hundreds of photos. One thing that we did have happen that was quit strange was, when watching the video from the basement. There was a recorder down there too attempting to catch some EVPs. On the video you start to hear a thump noise  sporadically , then it becomes steady. You can then hear the tape recorder fast forward and pop by its self. The recorder was checked after that and it was fine except that the tape was fast forwarded  on its own. There were other incidents during the investigation where everyone one time or another there cameras batteries went dead instantly. This is common and said to be spirits drawing energy from sources available to them. I put my camera down on the desk and sat back for a minute, my camera took a photo on its own. while checking my photos and saw that there was indeed a photo of the computer key board. Overall the investigation was not as eventful as I expected. The team members told me that I looked disappointed.

I am going to work with the owner and Colton to see if they bring out the activity on the premises.  We have spoke about the possibility of the business being haunted , and possibly being of demonic nature. We have given the owner the option to let us bring clergy into the business, to bless the location.

The final results of the investigation will take a few days to sort through all of the photos and videos. We may revisit the location while the father and son duo are present to see if they could provoke the terror.

We have scheduled  an investigation at the Twisted Vine Restaurant in Derby, Connecticut, an investigation in South Windsor of a Bed and Breakfast , and of course the East Coast Paranormal Police Haunted Tour 2009 on October 16th.
